Accommodation Booking Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the booking of accommodation services through Snaptrip Group Limited, trading as “My Luxury Hotel” (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully before completing your booking. By confirming a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a contract in order to make a booking.
- By booking, you confirm that you meet these requirements and are responsible for all persons included in your reservation.
2. Our Role
- We act as an intermediary: you make a booking through our platform, but the accommodation services are provided by Hotelbeds and its hotel partners (“Supplier”).
- Your contract for the actual accommodation is with the Supplier, not with us. We are not responsible for the standard, provision, or delivery of the accommodation.
- Your contract with us covers the use of our platform and payment. However if you have issues with the accommodation, we will enquire with the Supplier on your behalf.
3. Booking Process
- All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by the Supplier.
- You are responsible for ensuring that all details provided during the booking (names, dates, special requests, etc.) are accurate.
4. Pricing, Payment & Deposits
- Prices are shown in your selected currency. They include the accommodation charges and any applicable taxes or fees known to us at the time of booking.
- When payment is taken:
Prepaid Bookings: For some hotels, you must pay the full amount at the time of booking. By making a booking, you authorize us to facilitate the reservation with the Supplier on your behalf and to charge your chosen payment method for the total price shown (including the room rate, tax recovery charges, service fees, and applicable taxes on our services).Pay at Hotel: For other hotels, payment is taken directly by the hotel at check-in or check-out. The hotel may require a valid credit card to guarantee your stay.
- Taxes & fees: Taxes and fees may vary depending on whether you prepay or pay at the hotel. Tax rates and foreign exchange rates may change between the time of booking and your stay.
- Currency & card charges: Some banks and card issuers may add international transaction fees or currency conversion charges if the transaction is processed outside your country or in a different currency. These charges are set by your card issuer and are separate from the booking amount we display. As a result, the amount shown on your bank statement may differ slightly from the total shown on our website at the time of booking. Please contact your bank for details of any such fees.
- Pre-authorization: We may place a temporary pre-authorization hold on your card to verify funds before confirming the booking. Release of this hold depends on your card issuer’s policies.
- Deposits: If a deposit payment is offered, it is strictly non-refundable. Failure to pay the remaining balance when due will result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
- Hotel deposits & incidental charges: Some hotels require guests to present a credit card or cash deposit at check-in to cover incidentals or additional expenses during the stay. This deposit is separate from and in addition to any payment made through us.
5. Changes, Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancellation and amendment policies vary by hotel and rate type, and are determined by the Supplier.
- The specific policy for your booking will be shown during the booking process and confirmed on your booking confirmation.
- No-shows (failure to check in) are treated as cancellations, and no refunds will be provided.
6. Special Requests
- Requests such as bed type, smoking preference, early/late check-in, or accessibility must be made at the time of booking but cannot be guaranteed.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- You must comply with all hotel rules, policies, and requirements (e.g. valid ID, deposit, maximum occupancy).
- You are responsible for any damage or charges incurred during your stay.
8. Supplier Conditions (Hotelbeds & Hotels)
In addition to these Terms, the following conditions apply to accommodation booked via Hotelbeds and its hotel partners:
- Hotel Classification & Information: Star ratings, descriptions, photos, and facilities are provided by the hotel. They are for general guidance only and may not reflect official local standards.
- Check-In / Check-Out: You must comply with the hotel’s published check-in and check-out times. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel approval and may incur additional charges.
- Special Requests: Requests for bedding, smoking preferences, adjoining rooms, or accessibility are passed on to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed.
- Overbooking / Relocation: In rare cases of overbooking, the hotel (via Hotelbeds) may relocate you to accommodation of an equal or higher standard. No further liability is accepted for inconvenience caused.
- Cancellations / Amendments: Supplier-specific cancellation and amendment rules apply as displayed during booking and in your confirmation. Refunds (if any) will follow those rules.
- No-Shows: Failure to check in on the scheduled date will be treated as a cancellation, with no refund due.
- Charges Payable at Hotel: Some fees (local taxes, resort fees, deposits, incidental charges, or security deposits) are payable directly at the hotel. A valid ID and credit card may be required at check-in.
- Force Majeure: Neither Hotelbeds nor the hotel is liable for service failures caused by events beyond their control (including natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions).
9. Information Accuracy & Availability
- We rely on Hotelbeds and its partners for the accuracy of hotel descriptions, rates, photos, and availability.
- While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, accurate, or up to date.
- We accept no liability for inaccuracies, omissions, or changes made by the Supplier.
- In the event of an error in price or availability, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and issue a full refund.
10. Fraud & Security
- We reserve the right to cancel any booking if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent, abusive, or made in error.
- We may carry out checks and validations to prevent fraud, and by making a booking you consent to such checks.
- We accept no liability if a booking is cancelled on these grounds.
11. Liability & Industry Standard Disclaimers
- Hotels and other suppliers are independent contractors, not agents or employees of My Luxury Hotel.
- We are not liable for acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, or negligence of the Supplier or hotel.
- We are not responsible for events outside our control, including overbooking, strikes, industrial action, government restrictions, public health emergencies, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
- Our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the booking.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
13. Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By making a booking, you consent to your data being shared with Hotelbeds and the relevant hotel to fulfil your reservation.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
