No diving on day of departure and a 24 hour no-fly time is strictly enforced. As per the Diving Regulations of Maldives, a diver must be able to provide evidence of diving within the prior 3 months. In the absence of any such evidence, the diver will be required to join an orientation dive to successfully demonstrate the skills and abilities of a certified diver.
